it was a beautiful old hotel in a dog friendly area, next to caio cafe and canberra. particularly good location - an easy walk to everywhere we needed. also, the property was 2 miles away from bicentennial park. it was reasonably priced.

Excellent co-operating staff and the location was incredible. Popped in Royal Hotel for shots before sleep, it was not very far from the venue. We ate in the nice restaurant with choice of dining which was reasonably priced.

Arnold
On the bright side, the hotel's location was very convenient as it was close to everything. We didn't have to go far to find local shops and restaurants.
Our stay in the hotel was not very pleasant due to the lack of cleanliness in the room.

Room was quite comfortable and staff very pleasant and helpful
I found the single bed quite "hard" but other than that had no problems

The Asian guy at the front desk was an absolute legend, cracked us up! Extremely friendly guy.
Purely because I was after a place in Canberra, the distance was a minor issue. Other than that, it was all we needed.

This hotel provided amazing value for money. The room rates were extremely affordable, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers. Additionally, the hotel's location just on the edge of town was perfect for those who wanted to be close to shopping areas and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of a busy street.
All our needs were met perfectly.

Great location with easy access to local amenities. The room was clean upon arrival and the bed was quite comfortable for a good night’s rest. One of the best aspects was the mini fridge and kettle which were really convenient for storing drinks and making coffee in the morning.
The noise from the street outside was quite disruptive to my sleep and led to a less than optimal experience. the lack of an elevator or luggage lift made it difficult to haul my suitcases up to my room.

Room was comfortable enough although eventual price paid was on par with more luxury accommodation available elsewhere for the night and as it was too late to change mind put up with it
Nothing really but it is showing its age though

Friendly staff very accommodating and happy to assist with anything. Good heating in rooms considering how cold the weather was.
For what it was, the rooms seemed overpriced. Have paid less money for nicer rooms before.
